Wirral Chefs Shine 2008

This years Wirral equivalent to Masterchef is up and running - yes, Wirral Chefs Shine 2008 is up and running!

We gather (from the local paper!) that the nominations are in, the judges have deliberated and next week the first finalist will be announced. The Wirral Tourism backed competition is now in it’s fifth year, though I’m struggling to find the offial website that describes the history of the competition - heck, I’m going to email someone about that!

I can tell you that in 2007, the winning chef was Colin Parry from La Paz in West Kirby - so jolly well done to him!
